Our Chef's Raclette is a non-mould ripened cheese produced in France. It's a mouthwatering cheese, best enjoyed melted as the main ingredient of the famous Swiss meal La Raclette. Beneath the thin rind, a pale orange with brown hues, is a smooth, fine paste, the colour of ivory, which becomes silky when melted. The Swiss traditionally melt the cheese by placing a large portion of the cheese near a grill and scraping (racler, giving the name raclette) the melted cheese on the surface. A very popular dish in France, it is usually served with potatoes and cured meats. The perfect winter treat!
