FROM THE ASHES OF HISTORY, THE WORK IS REBORN

The upheavals linked to the early 1900s, and in particular the First World War which destroyed more than half of the Louis Roederer estate, led Léon Olry Roederer to rebuild his vineyard. He decides to buy grapes to ensure the continuity of the House in this period of crisis and, at the same time, creates a multi-vintage wine expressing a constant taste whatever the year of harvest.

THE ART OF BLENDING

Witness to the historic style of 19th century Champagne wines, Carte Blanche is a soft and creamy champagne, releasing a pure fruit that perfectly nourishes its liveliness. Having reached maturity after a few years in the cellar, it finds, through the art of Louis Roederer blends, an astonishing freshness and subtlety.

AN EPICUREAN CHAMPAGNE

Aged between 3 and 4 years in our cellars, Carte Blanche expresses itself through a rich and creamy texture that contrasts with its freshness. The notes of cooked fruit, baked apple, white flowers, almond and frangipane follow each other with relish. Beautifully balanced, this epicurean champagne pleases immediately!
