Vintage Conditions

2019 experienced warmer-than-average conditions with lower rainfall (430 mm vs. historical 651 mm).

Winter was dry and cold, with rainfall 40% below the previous season.

Spring was mild and wet, encouraging early and vigorous vine growth.

Summer was hotter than average, with heat waves and intense sunlight in late January and early February.

No rainfall occurred until the end of harvest, requiring careful irrigation and canopy management to prevent sunburn.

Wide temperature amplitude between day and night enhanced color, tannins, and grape quality.

Harvest began approximately 8 days earlier than usual, with healthy grapes and lower yields.
