Vintage Conditions

The 2016 growing season began with a very dry winter, with only 193 mm of rainfall from May to September.

Spring was colder and rainier than usual, reducing yields and affecting Cabernet Sauvignon and Carménère.

Summer was hot and dry, followed by a sharp drop in temperatures in March.

Heavy rainfall occurred in April during harvest, requiring precise and accelerated picking.

Harvest ran from March 29 to May 6, finishing two weeks earlier than usual.

Despite challenges, strict selection and careful vinification produced wines of elegance, freshness, and character.

Winemaking & Aging

Aged for 16 months in new French oak barrels.

Careful monitoring and optical selection ensured only high-quality fruit was used.
