Bons Mayennais Coulommiers Cheese 350g

Mild Flavour · Supple Texture · Creamy Centre · Fine White Bloomy Rind

Mayenne · France 98% Pasteurised Cow’s Milk Locally Collected Milk 350g

Official Description

Made from carefully selected cow’s milk collected within a 40 km radius of the dairy, Bons Mayennais Coulommiers is distinguished by its mild flavours and supple texture.

As it matures, it develops a smooth and creamy centre beneath its fine white bloomy rind.

Its generous format and delicate creamy taste make it particularly well suited for sharing with family or friends. It is equally at home in the kitchen, where it can be used in savoury tarts, quiches or on pizza.

Local Mayenne Milk

Bons Mayennais Coulommiers is made using carefully selected cow’s milk collected within a 40 km radius of the dairy in Mayenne.

Bons Mayennais collects fresh milk from 170 partner dairy farmers in Mayenne every 48 hours. The cows spend an average of six months each year at pasture.

Traditional Cheesemaking

Each cheese is turned by hand during production. This traditional technique allows the cheesemakers to monitor every cheese individually as it matures and has been a mark of quality at Bons Mayennais since 1912.
