Château Haut-Brion Blanc 2006
Grand Vin Blanc • Pessac-Léognan
Description
When we talk about the white wine of Château Haut-Brion, the first words that come to mind are uniqueness, excellence and richness. Château Haut-Brion Blanc is an icon in the world of exceptional white wines, demonstrating that Bordeaux is also capable of producing some of the world's finest dry white wines.
Official Vintage Conditions
The 2006 vintage was the result of a highly contrasted climate. Throughout the year, weather conditions shifted from one extreme to another. Fortunately, both spring and summer were generally hot and dry. One hundred seasonal workers laboured continuously for three months, allowing the winemaking team to wait patiently until every grape variety reached optimum ripeness before harvest.
