Hakushu 25 Years Old Single Malt Japanese Whisky
From Suntory’s mountain forest distillery, nestled deep in Mt. Kaikomagatake, Suntory Single Malt Whisky Hakushu is the crisp and gently smoky single malt whisky with herbal notes that is the revelation of Japanese single malts.
This product meets the standards set out by the Japan Spirits & Liqueurs Makers Association for labeling Japanese Whisky.
Award: Double Gold Medal, International Spirits Challenge, 2025.
- Color: Dark amber
- Nose: Plum, cigar humidor, caramel
- Palate: Creme brulee, sage, lavender, baked pineapple
- Finish: Long, pleasantly smoked, hint of cypress (hinoki)
Best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to open up its herbal and gently smoky character. Pair with roasted duck, grilled mushrooms, charred leeks, aged hard cheeses, or dark chocolate desserts.
