Delicate, straw-yellow colour.
Notes of bananas, orange blossom and
citrus.
Invigorating structure with notes of mango, almond and lime on the palate.
While a little young and boisterous, it transcends whilst aging superbly with a sublime finesse.
Serving temperature: 8-10°.
A perfect accompaniment to fish, oysters or white meat.
In Valais, Savagnin blanc is known as heida or païen. It is also found in the French Jura, where it is used to make yellow wines. It also exists in Alsace under the name of traminer. In France, its presence has been confirmed since the 16th century, but it seems to have been present long before that.
