Petit Sainte Mère is a cheese made in Normandy by the “Isigny Sainte Mère” Cooperative Dairies of Sainte Mère Eglise in the Manche department (50) and Isigny sur Mère in the Calvados department (14).
It is a finely salted, soft cheese with a bloomy rind made from Norman cow's milk which is distinguished by its exceptional richness in fat, proteins and vitamins.
It was created in the 1960s.
