Single Malt Whisky 

Kavalan Oloroso Sherry Oak dilutes the Solist Oloroso Sherry with Kavalan spring water to 46% alcoholic strength. It is easy to drink and is the perfect single malt whisky to share with friends and family. Clean and complex with multiple layers of dried fruit, nuttiness and spices, it has some marzipan and vanilla touches to it.

Colour

Deep mahogany

 
Clean, elegant, floral (pleasant & refreshing fragrance of the butterfly orchid), fruity and seductive. With hints of honey, tropical fruits (mango in particular), pear drop, vanilla, coconuts and suggestions of chocolate.

Flavour

Clean and complex with multiple layers of dried fruit, nuttiness and spices with some marzipan and vanilla touches to it as well.

A hint of sweet mango juice with that spicy complexity and gentle warmth on a medium, oily and citrus finish.

Palate

Smooth, well-balanced natural sweetness, full of pleasant dried fruit and spices. The whisky leaves a beautifully elegant and long finish.

 
Kavalan classic is the perfect partner for seafood. We suggest sometimes you can dilute Kavalan classic with water, the perfect ratio is "Kavalan Classic 1: Water 5", and add ice to cool.

Tasting

A perfectly cooked steak would go beautifully with Kavalan Oloroso Sherry Oak. Chocolate and nuts also match well with Kavalan Oloroso.
