Le Clos Lanson is a rare walled vineyard located within the city of Reims, adjacent to the historic Champagne house of Lanson. Planted exclusively with Chardonnay, this small parcel produces one of the house’s most prestigious cuvées.
The vineyard benefits from a unique microclimate and chalk-rich soils that contribute to the wine’s elegance and mineral character.
A Rare Single-Vineyard Champagne
Clos Champagnes are extremely rare in Champagne. Le Clos Lanson represents a singular expression of terroir, produced only in exceptional vintages and in very limited quantities.
The wine is aged for many years in the Lanson cellars, allowing it to develop remarkable complexity and depth.
Tasting Notes
The bouquet reveals aromas of citrus zest, white flowers, and ripe orchard fruits, accompanied by delicate notes of brioche, toasted almond, and subtle mineral nuances.
On the palate, the Champagne is precise and structured, with fine bubbles supporting flavors of lemon, pear, and light pastry notes. The finish is long, mineral, and elegant.
