Appareance
Clean, crystalline, fullbodied.
Nose
Herbal and fruity cooked Agave notes to the nose, enhanced by citrus aromas. Its fibrous and herbal character is present, followed by delicate notes of orange blossom.
Palate
The taste is rich and fruity.
Finish
Orange blossom flavors are perfectly assembled with a citric and an earthy touch for a pleasant, generous bouquet and intense finish.

All the traditions and heritage of Mexico live in our agave plants (Agave means "in Greek). Our Espadin Agaves are carefully selected by our Maestro Mezcalero and harvested at 8 years of age, having reached optimum ripeness. Their hearts or piñas are slowly cooked in pre-Hispanic volcanic stone pits for 3 to 4 days, under the mantle of their leaves. The agave juice is traditionally extracted by scraping the cooked piñas with a stone pulled by a mule called a Tahona. It is then fermented in oak vats and distilled twice in copper stills.
