It is a new ambition, a freedom that today leads us to write a new chapter in our history by creating Collection. The era, climate change, the importance of sustainable viticulture that respects living organisms to express all the qualities of the terroir, all form evidence that must be answered.
From constraint and adversity are often born the most beautiful works. Driven by a new breath, we have chosen to renew our blends, to model our know-how differently, to rethink our gestures to anchor ourselves in this new tempo of Nature. The creation of Collection thus imposed itself.

It is an evolution of structure, form, style. The dawn of a new chapter for our House that we continue to write with passion.

Collection is based on a selection of plots chosen in the heart of the Champagne region, adapted to its identity, with priority given to sustainable viticultural practices.We have thus rigorously redefined all the plots of the Collection, those of our Louis Roederer estates and those resulting from our historical partnerships, to keep only those rooted in this "Heart of Terroir": localities, exhibitions, land with strong, salient, precise identities, most often chalk soils, the most apt to sustain over time to give us, vintage after vintage, the best of their fruit.

Thus freed from any imposed figure, in the exclusive search for the best wine each year, we place more than ever the art of blending at the heart of our approach; even better, it becomes the key element because our desire is to take the quality of our multi-vintage wines even further.
However, today we are taking this wine to a new stage and, more than an evolution of style, it is a change of matrix that is taking place; a velvet revolution that gives birth to this multi-vintage Collection cuvée, like an essential milestone in our quest for progress and the absolute.

To bring the freshness even further, and to balance the beautiful harvest maturities, we have set up a “Perpetual Reserve”.
Started with the 2012 vintage, enriched each year with the latest harvest and kept in large capacity stainless steel vats, this Perpetual Reserve brings new sensations, both tactile and gustatory: the wine thus finds more fullness, depth, material and relief; its more enveloping, more fleshy texture enhances its complexity.
Alongside this Perpetual Reserve, we have greatly increased the proportion of reserve wines in oak. These reserve wines judiciously balance the freshness of the Réserve Perpétuelle and give intensity to the blend.
Collection thus gains in modernity, in complexity, adorning itself with all the virtues of a very great champagne.
