Cristal 2008 is one of the most celebrated vintages of Louis Roederer’s iconic prestige cuvée. Crafted exclusively from Grand Cru vineyards, it reflects the exceptional balance, freshness, and precision of the 2008 growing season.
Produced only in outstanding years, Cristal is vinified with a focus on purity and transparency of terroir. The 2008 vintage stands out for its remarkable tension, crystalline structure, and extraordinary aging potential.
Technical Details
Grape Composition Pinot Noir (approximately 60%) and Chardonnay (approximately 40%).
Vineyards Exclusively Grand Cru sites from the Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne, and Côte des Blancs.
Vinification Partial oak aging, no malolactic fermentation, extended aging on lees.
Dosage Approximately 10 g/L.
Tasting Notes
Aroma Intense citrus, white flowers, chalk, and subtle roasted notes.
