Description
Tignanello is one of Italy's most influential wines and a benchmark of the Super Tuscan category. Produced exclusively from the Tignanello vineyard on the Tenuta Tignanello estate in the heart of Chianti Classico, it was among the first Sangiovese wines to be aged in barriques and among the first modern Italian red wines to blend Sangiovese with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
The 2016 vintage is considered one of the finest in the estate's history, offering exceptional concentration, freshness, elegance, and balance. The growing season provided ideal conditions for gradual ripening, producing a wine of remarkable complexity, refined tannins, and extraordinary longevity.
