Description
Tignanello is one of Italy's most influential wines and a benchmark of the Super Tuscan category. Produced exclusively from the Tignanello vineyard on the Tenuta Tignanello estate in the heart of Chianti Classico, it was among the first Sangiovese wines to be aged in barriques and among the first modern Italian red wines to blend Sangiovese with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
The 2018 vintage experienced a balanced growing season with favorable rainfall followed by a warm summer and ideal harvest conditions. The result is a wine that beautifully combines freshness, aromatic complexity, elegance, and refined structure while faithfully expressing the unique character of the Tignanello estate.
