Marchesi Antinori Tignanello 2019
Iconic Super Tuscan Red Wine
Description
Tignanello is one of Italy's most influential wines and a benchmark of the Super Tuscan category. Produced exclusively from the Tignanello vineyard on the Tenuta Tignanello estate in the heart of Chianti Classico, it was among the first Sangiovese wines to be aged in barriques and among the first modern Italian red wines to blend Sangiovese with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
The 2019 vintage benefited from a classic growing season characterized by alternating warm and cool periods that promoted slow, even ripening. The result is a wine of remarkable aromatic complexity, freshness, structure, and elegance, faithfully expressing both the vintage and the unique terroir of the Tignanello estate.
