Description
Tignanello is one of Italy's most influential wines and a benchmark of the Super Tuscan category. Produced exclusively from the Tignanello vineyard on the Tenuta Tignanello estate in the heart of Chianti Classico, it was among the first Sangiovese wines to be aged in barriques and among the first modern Italian red wines to blend Sangiovese with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
The 2020 vintage was characterized by a balanced growing season with alternating warm and cool periods that allowed the grapes to ripen gradually and evenly. The resulting wine combines freshness, aromatic intensity, refined tannins, and exceptional balance, faithfully expressing the identity of both the vintage and the Tignanello estate.
