Description
Tignanello is one of Italy's most influential wines and a benchmark of the Super Tuscan category. Produced exclusively from the Tignanello vineyard on the Tenuta Tignanello estate in the heart of Chianti Classico, it was among the first Sangiovese wines to be aged in barriques and among the first modern Italian red wines to blend Sangiovese with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
The 2021 vintage is regarded as one of the finest in recent years. A balanced growing season with cool spring temperatures followed by a warm, dry summer and ideal harvest conditions produced grapes of exceptional quality. The resulting wine combines remarkable concentration, freshness, elegance, and precision while faithfully expressing the unique terroir of the Tignanello estate.
