Dried porcini, Latin name Boletus edulis, is carefully sorted by hand and undergoes a rigorous selection process at PLANTIN. This is an excellent mushroom boasting a soft nutty flavour.

As it is rehydrated, the dried porcini gains 3.5 times its weight. 10 grams of dried porcini are therefore equivalent to around 35 grams of fresh porcini.

If stored in a cool, dry place, dried porcini will keep for up to 18 months. .
How to enjoy
Rehydrate for around 30 minutes then rinse thoroughly. Then sauté them with garlic and parsley for a real treat alongside meat or poultry

First, our staff select and sort the mushrooms by hand. Our dried porcini are then packaged. Stored in their jars in a cool, dry place, they can then be kept for up to 18 months. They are thus an excellent alternative to fresh mushrooms, which must be eaten within days of their harvest.
