Sleek and bright, the 2018 Purlieu To Kalon Cabernet Sauvignon dazzles with its world-famous fruit. The nose opens with earthy aromas of sandalwood and berries, but the palate bursts with To Kalon’s signature sweet berry character, layered with juicy black and red fruit and a warm cola caramel. Ultra-fine tannins provide a lithe, silky texture that slips all too easily from the glass. The lingering finish glides smoothly through waves of rich mocha with warm red fruit overtones.
