About Quinta do Noval

Founded in 1715, Quinta do Noval is one of Portugal's most historic Port houses and is internationally recognised for producing benchmark Vintage Ports that faithfully express the unique terroir of the Douro Valley.

Winemaking

The grapes originate exclusively from Quinta do Noval's vineyards. They are foot trodden in traditional granite lagares before fermentation, ensuring optimum extraction of colour, aromas and tannins. The wine matures for approximately 18 months in wooden vats before bottling as a declared Vintage Port.
