About Quinta do Noval

Founded in 1715, Quinta do Noval is one of Portugal's oldest and most prestigious Port houses. Internationally acclaimed for producing benchmark Vintage Ports, including the legendary Nacional, the estate is renowned for expressing the unique terroir of the Douro Valley through meticulous vineyard management and traditional winemaking.

Official Vineyard & Winemaking

The grapes originate exclusively from Quinta do Noval's vineyards in the heart of the Douro Valley. Following careful hand harvesting, the fruit is sorted and vinified using a combination of traditional stone lagares and temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats to achieve optimal extraction while preserving freshness and aromatic purity.

After fortification, the wine matures for approximately 18 months before bottling as a declared Vintage Port, where it continues to develop remarkable complexity over many decades.
