CHILE’S FIRST ICON WINE
OCOA, ACONCAGUA VALLEY
Seña is a unique Bordeaux-style red blend with a very Chilean soul. Its predominant variety is Cabernet Sauvignon blended with Carmenere, which clearly ties it to Chile, while Malbec, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Cabernet Franc round out the blend.

Vintage Conditions
The 2022 vintage experienced a harmonious and gentle growing season, producing concentrated and elegant wines.
The season was marked by dry conditions and average temperatures during ripening, closely aligned with historical norms.
Spring saw slightly earlier budbreak due to lower winter rainfall.
Moderate temperatures allowed for steady vine development and gradual, homogeneous ripening.
The main challenge was water availability, with only 75 mm of rainfall—65% below the historical average of 219 mm in the Aconcagua Valley.
Deep-rooted vines, irrigation strategies, and biodynamic practices helped maintain vine balance throughout the season.
Harvest followed historical timing, beginning mid-March with Malbec, followed by Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and finishing with Carménère in mid-April.
Lower yields resulted in concentrated fruit with excellent balance, preserved acidity, and strong color intensity.
Vineyard & Philosophy
