Amber Production Tequila sources its agave from Los Altos de Jalisco and the Tequila region. The distillery selects mature agaves from trusted growers and inspects each lot before production.

Amber Production Tequila cooks its Blue Agave piñas before shredding and pressing them to separate the juice from the agave fibres.

The distillery does not use a diffuser. After cooking, the extracted agave juice undergoes fermentation for up to 72 hours.

Distillation takes place in pot stills, with double pot distillation used and only the hearts of the distillate selected by the master distiller.

Tres Ochos Reposado is matured in large American white oak casks, where interaction with the wood develops its golden-amber colour and contributes vanilla, spice and subtle woody notes.

The oak maturation complements rather than masks the tequila's underlying sweet roasted agave character.
