Curiosity
Tauleto is the local expression used by our farmers to indicate a land rich in water. The springs that flow under the Sangiovese vineyards of Podere Tauleto allow to reduce to a minimum the water stress of the plants. For this wine Umberto Cesari has given new life to the Uva Longanesi, an ancient native vine almost forgotten.
Red wine of great structure and longevity obtained from the best vintages of Sangiovese and 10% from Uva Longanesi. The vineyards have an average age of 20 years and a yield of 65 quintals of grapes per hectare. The careful selection of the grapes is followed by the fermentation phase in special temperature-controlled winemakers that allow a long maceration of the marc. Aged for 24 months in new 225-liter Allier oak barriques and refined for a further 6 months in the bottle.

Color: intense ruby ​​red with majestic purple hues.
Bouquet: red fruit, ripe cherry, small berries, with a touch of rose, balsamic and spicy notes.
Taste: powerful and rich in pulp, a wine balanced by soft tannins and hints of spices, graphite, tobacco and red fruits. Very long and intense finish.
