The Seventh Son of the Seventh Son is preordained by his birth right to be endowed with the gifts of second sight, healing and luck. The “Chosen One” is however cursed by the good and evil forces that battle for his eternal soul. Tasting notes: Medium ruby with purple hues. Gorgeously expressive with lifted aromas of spiced plum, strawberry, black cherry, violet and cedar. Lovely weight with equal elements of sweet spice and ripe fruit. Satsuma plum, cherry, cinnamon and vanilla mesh perfectly with refreshing acidity and finegrained tannins. Full-bodied, but soft and harmonious, it finishes long with a silky mouthfeel. Our best 7th Son to date. Review: 91 points, Robert Parker, Wine Advocate "Made up of a similar blend to the 2017, the 2018 Small Batch Series 7th Son is nevertheless riper and more savory, with black olive tapenade notes, hints of cola and dried spices alongside black cherries and blackberries. Full-bodied yet supple, it looks to be a bit bigger wine, and perhaps just a touch longer on the finish."
