Tasting Notes: The nose is intense and offers classic black fruit with nuances of cranberry, cigar box, graphite and sublet perfume. The black cherry, blueberry and bramble fruit character of the nose follows through onto a well-rounded mid-palate, with notes of oregano, rosemary and pencil lead derived from the French oak. The palate is juicy, smooth and lithe, yet with enough structure provided by its fine tannins and vibrant acidity to balance. A pleasant garrigue character lingers on a composed finished with hints of dark chocolate.
