Variety: Corvina/Corvinone/Rondinella The amarone classico della Valpolicella from Paolo Cottini winery is a blend of Corvina (55%), Corvinone (35%) and Rondinella (10%) grapes that grow in the vineyards owned by the winery, located in Castelrotto di San Pietro in Cariano near Verona in the heart of the DOC Valpolicella. A persuasive wine that fully reflects the terroir the wines grow on. Tasting notes: Ruby red. The aroma is powerful with pleasant hints of berries, cherry, strawberry and cooked plum that intertwine with notes of tobacco to make room for spicy scents of nutmeg, licorice, coffee and cloves. Rich on the palate, well structured and very harmonious, with an excellent tannic texture and an incredible persistence.
