Variety: Gamay Noir Tasting notes: The grapes are partially stalked and fermented by the "semi carbonique" method, which ensures the wines structure and a slender fruit that gives memories of black currants and strawberries. There is both structure, substance and complexity under the fruit and a delicious touch of minerals and white pepper. Medium-bodied, quite deep in flavour with a pleasing roundness, a bit of grainy tannin, meat and dried herb, and a good finish. It’s just a really good drink, and very accessible."
