Domaine De Beaurenard Châteauneuf-Du-Pape White 2021 AOC

Variety: Clarette/Rousanne/Bourboulenc/Grenche Blanc Tasting Notes: Eye: Very pretty green gold colour, crystal and shiny. Nose: Really beautiful, elegant, floral and fruity, very elegant nose. Palate: In tune, a rare balance with a singular brightness, the fruit, with peach and apricot, is enhanced by a freshness and minerality making it very persistent. Reviews: 93 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine "This has a gorgeous feel, with seamless, creamy layers of white peach, papaya, orange cream and heather honey sailing along, picking up salted butter and straw notes through the finish. This is hard to resist now, but should pick up even more nuance with modest cellaring. Drink now through 2017. 1,100 cases made." – JM (Web Only - 2015) 90 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate : "I love the whites from this estate, and the straight 2013 Châteauneuf du Pape Blanc is a classic example of the whites from this region. Checking in as a blend of 30% Clairette, 25% Bourboulenc, 25% Roussanne, 17% Grenache Blanc and rest a mix of Picardan and Picpoul, it offers outstanding notes of white currants, white flowers and loads of minerality to go with a medium-bodied, classy, focused and balanced mouthfeel. Drink it anytime over the coming 3-4 years or cellar for a decade."
