Total rainfall for the entire season reached just 79 mm, reflecting a dramatically dry year.
Winter began warmer than usual before cooling in late season.
Budbreak occurred at normal timing despite expectations of earlier development.
Spring temperatures were higher than average, followed by a summer that aligned with historical norms—warmer than 2021 but cooler than 2020 and 2019.
Thermal amplitude between day and night was greater than average, aiding structure and balance.
Harvest began March 21 for Cabernet Sauvignon and concluded April 29, followed by Carménère harvest from May 2 to May 11.
The resulting wines are generous in fruit, well-balanced between ripeness and freshness, and richer than average while maintaining freshness.
Winemaking & Aging
Aged for 20 months in French oak barrels (70% new).
The vintage benefited from balanced ripening conditions despite drought, producing wines with structure and harmony.
