CASK MASTERY RUM CASK MATURED SINGLE MALT WHISKY

Our Rum Cask-Matured Single Malt Whisky release evokes a sense of the Caribbean. A nose of vanilla and banana combines with flavour notes of caramelised pineapple, coconut, black coffee and a soft, spicy oak finish.

Small Batch 290 Bottle Release

Despite being the lightest in colour of this Whisky Cask Mastery release, this limited edition Rum Cask whisky still has a great depth of flavour. Banana bread, demerara sugar and vanilla come through on the nose of this whisky. On the palate, you can expect caramelised pineapple, a light cereal maltiness and some oaky notes. The finish is rich coffee, subtle spice and a lingering hint of oak

We recommend you try this limited edition single malt Rum whisky neat to begin with, but our Head Distiller has noted that it will also work very well in cocktails.

CASK MASTERY

The Cask Mastery collection is a range of limited releases, with just 290 bottles of the rum cask-aged single malt, 500 bottles of the port cask-aged release and 270 of the madeira cask-aged single malt. 

“Port, madeira and rum casks were purposefully chosen for their unique character and influence on the maturing spirit.

However, it is the differences between the resulting whisky colour and flavour of these non-chill filtered single malts, which is astounding
