DESCRIPTION
Glencadam 12 Year Old was launched in late 2010, the distillery's first ever 'refined' whiskey. Very interesting indeed.
Nose: Peaches, damson jam, rhubarb crumble and custard, black pepper and nutmeg. Light summer fruit and a touch of old wine.
Taste: Sweet and rich, with juicy malt, floral notes, a touch of melon and some spice. It's developed on warm buttered grain toast with strawberry jam.
Finish: Cinnamon, citrus and barley with good length.
