Glencadam Aged 17 Years Triple Cask Portwood Finish

Glencadam Distillery opened in 1825 and since then little has changed. The entire Glencadam range is bottled at a strength of 46%, is unchillfiltered and natural in colour.

TASTING NOTES

Colour

Stunning rosé pink hue

Nose

Bold and rich with aromas of red fruits, maraschino cherries, marzipan and Christmas spices.

Palate

Layers of dark berry fruit and bramble jam mixed with walnut, coffee grounds, clove spice and subtle hints of cigar smoke

Finish

Woody and warming with notes of red fruits and chocolate cherry liqueurs leading into cinnamon and nutmeg spices
All our age statement Glencadam expressions are bottled at 46% vol. and are unchillfiltered whilst also having no added colouring to ensure that the flavour components of the whisky are preserved and the naturalness of the whisky from the cask can be enjoyed to the full.
