Les vergers Boiron uses a blend of two complementary mango varieties: Alphonso and Kesar.

According to the producer, the selected fruit origin for this purée is India, with the Alphonso and Kesar varieties grown in the western part of the country.

The fruits are harvested by hand and complete their ripening under straw, where the surrounding warmth encourages aromatic development. They are then individually selected once the desired level of maturity has been reached.

Alphonso mango contributes balance and aromatic richness to the blend.

Kesar naturally enhances the sweet flavour of the fruit and adds a subtle spicy note.

Bright yellow to orange in colour, recalling the colour of saffron, from which the name Kesar is derived in Hindi.

To preserve the sensory qualities of the product, Les vergers Boiron recommends defrosting the purée in its original closed packaging under refrigeration at approximately 2–4°C.

To make the frozen purée easier to remove or portion, leave the sealed tray at room temperature for approximately five minutes, or run the closed tray under lukewarm water for at least 30 seconds before opening.

Frozen Storage: Store at -18°C before defrosting.
