Opus One 2019 is a Napa Valley red blend built primarily around Cabernet Sauvignon. The vintage combines concentrated dark fruit with freshness, fine-grained tannins and a creamy, satiny texture.

Abundant spring rainfall delayed early vine development, while warmer late-summer conditions helped bring the fruit to full maturity. Harvest began on 10 September and continued for four weeks.

Nose

Black plum, blueberry, blackcurrant and dried rose petals with subtle mineral notes.

Palate

Finish

Long and balanced, with a delicate dark-chocolate bitterness.

The 2019 spent 22 days on the skins and was aged for 19 months in new French oak.
