The independent bottler Michel Couvreur was originally a producer and trader of Burgundy wine. He turned to the world of whisky in 1978 and distilled for the first time in Edradour in 1986. At the time, he wanted to buy a distillery in Scotland but his wife was against it and they then decided to settle in Bouze-Lès-Beaune, halfway between Scotland and Andalusia, and to intervene in the maturation of whiskies; mainly in Sherry and Port barrels. The range is very varied and meticulous work of blending, selecting new barrels, unusual techniques is undertaken daily. Since his death in 2013, his son-in-law Cyril Deschamps and his wife Alexandra continue the work of Michel Couvreur.
Fleeting Q is a 10-year-old from two Port Pipes of Colheita Port. 2,000 bottles were produced.
Porto Colheita matured for more than 10 years – a spirit made from Golden Promise. Single Malt Whisky distilled on the 13th November 2010, bottled on the 3rd February 2021. Aged completely in two Port pipes. 2000 bottles made at natural strength 54.00%. Powerful, energic and spicy, its savours are well balanced, suggesting an elegant and long after taste.

TASTING NOTES
The Whiskey Fleeting Q displays a remarkable character of balance, oscillating between finesse, elegance and energy. The nose evokes captivating scents of cereals and fruit pastes, then revealing a tense and powerful palate, marked by spices and an incredible rancio, while the finish of good persistence shines with its freshness and elegance.
