Object of all the care of winegrowers, the Bordeaux vineyard is unanimous on one point: it produces wines that are both fresh and elegant, which, while being testimonies of great culture and unique civilization, do not remain less easy drinks.
An everyday wine or a glass shared by the fireplace, the Bordeaux Rouge from the Collection plays the card of traditional grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot. The dominant Cabernet Sauvignon guarantees it the classic elegance that characterizes the style of the “Maison”, and the aging gives it charm and roundness.

2016 is a remarkable vintage in Bordeaux, both in quantity and quality, reminiscent of the mythical 1990! The year was quite complicated to manage for the winegrowers, with a very wet start to the cycle (800 mm of rainfall over the first 6 months of the year), a very dry period from July 1 to September 13, finally localized storms and a beautiful Indian summer, which finally allowed it to reach perfect ripeness. The red wines are rich, suave, fruity, with a maturity of tannins rarely reached and very deep colors.
Colour: Deep purple.
Nose: Intense, very expressive, dominated by aromas of fresh fruit (currant, raspberry) mixed with discreet woody notes.
Mouth: Structured, round and easy, nicely oaked on the palate, with firm but silky tannins, and a long, fresh and fruity finish.
