Belondrade y Lurton Rueda 2018
Product Description
Belondrade y Lurton 2018 is the flagship white of Belondrade, produced from estate-grown Verdejo in Rueda. The 2018 vintage combines ripe fruit, concentration and freshness in the estate's distinctive oak-fermented style.
Vinification & Aging
The estate harvests its plots by hand and vinifies them separately. Fermentation is spontaneous and the wine is aged on its lees in French oak before final selection and assemblage, followed by further bottle aging prior to release.
Tasting Profile
Layered white and yellow fruit with citrus, subtle floral and mineral notes, framed by integrated oak. The palate is broad and textured yet fresh, with a persistent finish and the characteristic gentle bitterness of Verdejo.
