Macán 2020 is the flagship wine of Bodegas Benjamín de Rothschild & Vega Sicilia's Rioja project. It is a modern, highly personal interpretation of Rioja built around refinement, elegance, complexity and power.

The producer regards 2020 as a turning point in Macán's definition, incorporating new parcels and, alongside Tempranillo, Garnacha and Graciano in the blend.

Fruit from selected plots in San Vicente de la Sonsierra was cooled before fermentation. Fermentation took place in oak vats with a proportion of native yeasts, emphasizing precision, freshness and texture.

Powerful yet subtle, rich and polished, with ripe dark fruit, savory complexity, refined tannins and a long, balanced finish.
